The Barn is a lovely, homely, no smoking property offering accommodation for up to four guests & 2 dogs. It has shared access to 3 acres of beautiful grounds so is perfect for those seeking to unwind and enjoy the slower pace of life here, in the unspoilt Somerset Levels.

The cottage is nestled in a tranquil setting in the beautiful South Somerset countryside just outside Long Sutton, halfway between Somerton & Langport.
Our cottage has been furnished and equipped to a high standard to offer everything you may need during your stay including free Wi-Fi. The cottage has a small enclosed garden with wooden garden furniture. We provide a canine care package for pets & have a fenced area within the grounds for dogs to be exercised off lead. There are many walks available locally suitable for both humans & dogs.

Around a 15 minutes walk away you will find the multi award winning pub, The Halfway House. With its rustic charm, hearty food portions, real ale and local cider it’s hard not to be impressed.
Just a short distance away you will find Long Sutton. It is a quaint village, with a pub (walkable in around 30 minutes), Church & a village shop for all your essentials.
The ancient market town of Somerton is famous for its Buttercross dating back to 1863 & the 13th century Church of St Michael and All Angels. There are many independent shops, pubs, cafes as well as an art gallery and antiques shop.
Langport, like Somerton, has a mass of independent businesses and restaurants. The River Parrett runs through the town offering walking and cycle routes.

Our central location makes for easy access to many family attractions such as Yeovilton Air Museum, Haynes Motor Museum and the famous Cheddar Gorge and Caves.
The beaches of Weymouth & Lyme Regis, on the Jurassic Coast to the South, are approximately an hour away by car. The seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare, to the North is also around an hour’s drive.
The historic towns of Glastonbury, famous for its Tor & Abbey as well as it’s eclectic mix of residents, Wells with its Cathedral, Taunton & Sherbourne with their Castles are really worth visiting. If shopping is your thing then a trip to the famous Clarks Outlet Village is just 20 minutes away.

See you soon – come and share the secret!
