Jasmine Cottage with hot tub and indoor pool in rural Dorset is one of our semi-detached holiday homes benefiting from an outdoor private hot tub and indoor heated swimming pool.
This cosy cottage with underfloor heating offers family friendly accommodation with three ensuite bedrooms and can sleep up to seven guests.
There is a king and single bedroom, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, all rooms will be made up with crisp white linen and have comfy duvets and fluffy pillows. Sorry we do not provide towels.
The bedrooms offer fitted wardrobes, bedroom furniture and plush woollen carpets with underfloor heated to keep you cosy in winter.
The ground floor is open plan with a comfortable lounge with 50″ SMART TV and dining area with seating for 7 guests.
There is a separate fully fitted kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher and also a ground floor WC for guests convenience.
Within the kitchen you will find a fridge freezer plus double oven and grill with ceramic hob. The cottage also has a washing machine and dishwasher.
You will also find all the usual kitchen items kettle, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans. Perfect for guests who wish to have the option to dine at home.
Jasmine Cottage is perfect for hot tub holidays and has a sunny patio with its own private hot tub overlooking our picturesque grounds.
Jasmine Cottage offers unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi for those who want to stay connected.
There is space to park one car at the front of the cottage. There is an additional car parking area by the indoor heated swimming pool.
There is an onsite laundry room with free to use washing machine and tumble dryer available weekday mornings.
Jasmine Cottage is surrounded by lush pastoral landscape and you can spend days wandering in the maze of small roads, footpaths and bridleways.

INDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL
Our indoor heated swimming pool is set in a picturesque pine log cabin. A fun place for the kids or a relaxing retreat for the adults.
The swimming pool is heated to a comfortable 30-32 degrees using renewable energy.
The indoor heated swimming pool is offered on an exclusive use basis. You will have access to an online calendar to secure your private sessions of one hour per day.
In addition we are offer a communal swimming session on Fridays between 4 pm and 8 pm. The pool is not available to book on your arrival or departure days.
The Victorian Barn boasts three coarse fishing lakes covering four acres of beautiful Dorset countryside. Open all year round.
The fishing lakes are also wonderful for a relaxing countryside walk
OUTDOOR CHILDRENS PLAY AREA
Our outdoor play area is perfect for getting young children out in the fresh air with a swing, slide, playhouse and trampolines!
Open from 8 am – 10 pm daily, our games room is a fantastic addition to keep both adults and children entertained.
The games room has a coin operated pool table, football table and quiz machine.
The games room also has free to use board games, books and leaflets to aid you to plan your stay.
Open from 8 am – 10 pm daily, Our activity suite features a range of games and entertainment.
This room offers badminton, table tennis, Jenga, floor games and toys for the kids.
Although The Victorian Barn is located in a rural and remote area there are some nearby towns to The Victorian Barn.
Sturminster Newton is our local countryside town offering places to eat and drink plus beautiful independent boutique shops. The trailway and a restored mill can also be explored here.
Blandford Forum is another wonderfully quaint town which adjoins the historical Trailway at Sturminster Newton.
Dorchester is a larger town offering most of the shops you would expect plus plenty of places to dine, cinemas and a large country market.
Sherborne is our closest rail link and is an historical town featuring medieval buildings, Abbey, places to dine, shops, castles and gardens.
Gillingham is another rail link town with some lovely eateries and small independent shops.
Weymouth is our local seaside town offering miles of sandy beaches, walks and stunning views as well as plenty of shops in it’s bustling High Street. There is also a fun fair for the kids.
There are also some great places to dine in the countryside.
Within walking distance of The Victorian Barn, Real Ale and amazing food are always guaranteed at this charming and traditional old Dorset pub.

For the more ambitious, a hearty walk over Bulbarrow Hill, and you will have earned yourself a fantastic Sunday carvery. Fresh, homemade food featuring a superb selection and family friendly.

Just a short drive to The Hambro Arms in Milton Abbas. A famous picture postcard village with 36 quaint white-washed and thatched cottages each fronted by a lawn. The pub is perfect for picturesque country dining.

For that special occasion why not try dining at Plumber Manor with truly wonderful food, great wine cellar and an amazing dessert trolley.
There is also a local village store for all the essentials and Supermarkets for collecting in store or home delivery.

The Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens boasts plentiful free parking and has great facilities including a coffee shop.

Deposits and Payments
To secure your booking, we request a non-refundable reservation fee of 20% of the total cost. The balance plus a refundable security deposit will become due 60 days prior to arrival and will be automatically debited from the payment card used to make the booking. For bookings made less than 60 days before arrival; the total amount will become payable at the time of booking. The refundable security deposit is £200 per property.
Cancellations and Insurance
We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
We do not offer a free cancellation period. Once a booking is made the contract is in force so please ensure you have read our terms before booking.
If a booking is cancelled less than 60 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
If the booking is cancelled 60 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 20.00% of the stay will be made.
At The Victorian Barn we offer a contactless check in from 4 pm and a contactless stay. We do live onsite should you have any queries and can be contacted by call, text, WhatsApp or email.
