Here you will discover an idyllic haven surrounded by organically farmed fields, rivers, woodland with miles of walking and cycling tracks (chemins) straight from your door, yet only five minutes from the historic town of Charroux with all amenities and only an hour from the larger cities of Poitiers, Angouleme and Limoges respectively.
The stunning heated pool sits invitingly in the beautifully landscaped gardens offering a haven of peace and tranquility with views over the countryside and neighbouring chateaux. If you are feeling a bit more energetic try out your boules skills on the petanque pitch under the magnificent oak tree, or hire a bike and explore the charming villages and towns within easy pedaling distance on quiet country lanes.
The gite has a fully-equipped kitchen with an electric fan oven, gas hob, microwave and a full-sized fridge freezer. The nearby markets have an abundance of locally produced fruit and veg, cheese, fish, charcuterie and other local artisanal specialities to inspire your culinary creations.
The separate ground floor bedroom has a king-sized bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, with a door leading out onto the terrace overlooking the pool. Also on the ground floor is a separate modern bathroom with a full-sized bath, shower, toilet and sink.
The open plan kitchen, living room and dining area opens out onto your private terrace equipped with a table, chairs, parasol, sun loungers and a BBQ overlooking the pool and countryside beyond.
