The Red Barn at Goadby Marwood
Converted in 2020 the detached Red Barn at Goadby Marwood historically sat in the grounds of Goadby Hall. Packed with original features; restored brick floors, king post trusses and repaired stable stalls it is an idyllic get away from it all rural retreat. Our aim has been to be as honest to the building as possible, repairing with affection and using traditional materials and methods, creating a contemporary but authentic holiday home. We have been told the beds are incredibly comfortable, the soft sheets are luxurious and the power showers are first rate. Gorgeous toiletries are supplied in each of the bathrooms. There are games and DVDs and an upstairs lounge with a second flat screen smart TV, a wi-fi booster and desk if you need to catch up with the office.
There is a downstairs accessible bedroom with a king size bed. A shower room is next door to this bedroom. Upstairs there are 2 further king size bedrooms, both with ensuite shower rooms, and a double bedroom with bathroom with shower over. Off this room is a mezzanine with ladder access suitable for children over the age of 8 with two single beds.

Secure storage for bikes is available on request.
The Red Barn is an old property, and much of its character and charm is due to its age. It is a re-purposed agricultural barn and because it is a Grade 2 listed building it was a requirement to retain certain features when it was converted. Please remember that should property features like low beams or uneven floors be a problem for any member of your party, you must consider and mention this prior to booking.
Parking is available for up to 4 cars on request. Please request at time of booking to ensure that we can accommodate.
